1. - Forum Posting - Please familiarize yourself with the different forum sections to avoid posting in the wrong forum section. Please also use the forum search function and read all forum stickies, guides, faq etc before posting a thread.
2. - Advertising - Overt advertising or soliciting other members to buy, sell or peruse any products or services through this discussion forum is subject to the discretion of the moderators.
3. - Right to Privacy – Do not violate a person's privacy by publishing information against another member’s will, information that is private and personal.
4. - Spamming - Topics/posts that are just complete nonsense will be deleted, or have the entire thread locked, at the moderators discretion.
6. - Flaming - Material that is knowingly defamatory, illegal, abusive, threatening or harassing, is strictly prohibited. Posts containing personal attacks on another user will be edited or deleted with no warning or consent.
7. - Porn - Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene is not permitted.
8. - Warez - Providing or asking for information on how to illegally obtain "warez", "gamez" or any other software or work protected by copyright law is strictly forbidden.
9. - Post Whoring - If a post is suspected to serve no other purpose than to increase the post count of the poster, Posts/Threads that are blatantly post whoring will be removed/locked. Also, please make sure to edit an existing post if you need to add something shortly after making the first post.
10. - Private Messaging - Please use private messaging for off topic talk. Using Private Messaging to spam other members will not be tolerated.
11. - Signature Size - To keep the page loading time down to a minimum, ensure your graphical signature sizes down to minimum. Five lines of text or less can be used as a signature.
12. – Caps Lock – Please practice good netiquette and do not use all caps in your posts.
13. - Cross-posting - Posting the same question in more than one forum is not allowed.
14. – Profanity – No profanity of any kind is allowed anywhere on the forum. Word censors are in effect.
Failure to follow these rules may result in you being permanently banned from the GTRCanada forums, subject to admin and moderator discretion.
