Beautiful example, very tasteful, and in my city too!
Wish I had the extra funds to pick that up.
I don't think in is an authentic GTR, but a GTR "spec".

I like the overall package (very clean, like a showcar). Although the lack of padding on rollcage or bar for harnesses (front seats) needs to be addressed. Also front seats need the head protection to protect head from hitting rollcage.

It has a 3 litre (might be from a R31) instead of 2 litre engine. Seems to be alot of Hakosuka GTR copies floating around using GT-X chassis.

It is said to have the looks of a Ford Mustang. Also it's a classic, rare car, so worth alot. Kind of like buying a rare restored American Muscle car.

Translater says it's got a rebuilt L28 3.1L engine, R32GTS-T Type-M transmission, etc. Also GTR specifications mentioned as grade.

There are few clones forsale -

From description, this looks like a real Hakosuka GTR -

Would be another 15k with the damn thing. Damn those engines are expensive. I remember just pricing one out for shits and giggles when I had my Datsun and if you could even GET one... it was 10k+ for a USED engine.

    Daryl,

How hard would it be to find a nice one but modded to modern specs?

I am not a purist, just a fan of the body style.

I would want a GTR look, with an RB26DETT, race buckets, new steering wheel, other stockish usable interior. Outside would be like the white one in the OP. Am I dreaming? What kind of pricing?

I'm hoping for a win-win in that I get all my modern performance but hopefully since its a blasphemy to do tis to a Hakoska, it can be bought for around $18-25K cad.

If you can find one, I'd definitely be up for it!!!
