    Key FOBS

    Anyone know where i can possible order a new keyless entry remote for an R32 GTR? I tried a nissan dealership earlier today, they said they can program one but they are unable to order one.....

    Well since they didn't come with one from the factory, I'm assuming it's aftermarket?

    ok, maybe its the r33 im thinking of then... could of sworn i seen somewhere r32's came with them x.x

    im sure they just got an aftermarket one, im not even sure about 33s..

    keyless entry is a relativity new thing to come stock on cars.
    let alone a nissan.

    I've seen keyless on NA Nissans as far back as 95. I remember reading somewhere the even on R32's, keyless entry was an option. Rare though. It makes me wonder if you could order the control unit and FOB...hook it all up and see if it'd work. Again, i'm not sure if the keyless entry option was for the R32 or R33 though.

    Well, since im not sure if it is stock until i recieve the car(Just bought from lucas hoping for it next tuesday/wednesday) if its not stock ill look into an after market kit, see if i can find anything.

    Get yourself a Viper or Compustar two way alarm- factory keyless sucks no matter what car you have. If there is a factory option, you wont be happy with it. The only downfall to aftermarket keyless units, is that in the R32 you need to add a doorlock actuator inside of the drivers door due to the central locking unit.
