i had inspections to do at the plant today (titanium froundry)
i started on the ground floor, it was hot

and it got about 3deg celcius hotter by each level,
    i ended up on level 5, (~50deg C)
i always keep a 1 litre water bottle on me, and completely drank it within an hour

when i got back to my office, even with a/c (which had a hard time to keep up) it took 2,5 hours for my shirt to dry

it was insane, i filled up my bottle a total of 5 times during the whole day

rain tomorrow! meaning sub 40 degrees! finally...

my master brake cylinder was on its way out recently, whenever it would be above 30 degrees outside I would lose close to all braking power, a few hundred bucks and a rental car later (long story) my braking system is as good as new!

Montreal heat isn't letting up for the next 2 weeks supposedly, Toronto is getting lucky tomorrow is going to be slightly cooler (its still gonna be hot). Skyline doesn't like the heat, and I'm regretting removing the AC. Back the the daily driver with AC!

I've got a water cooler at the shop, I've gone through a whole 18L bottle in a day and a half. The shop doors all face the east, so by 9 in the morning the sun heats us up to what feels like 40 and it stays at least that through the day. Even when there is a breeze to break the heat outside it comes from the west so we don't get any in the shop. We have all our industrial fans going, but that only goes so far :P
