Skymeet 2011

Hey guys,

So I'm posting this up to see when a good date would be for everyone for Ontario's biggest Skyline meet (hopefully) this year! Location should be Square One in Mississauga again, as it seemed to work well for us last year, but it can be talked about.
Oakville and I were thinking the best weekend would be July 9/10, but let's hear it! When would be best for everyone?

WHERE: Square One Plaza, Mississauga
WHAT: South-Western Ontario's Biggest GTRC Meet
Bring your car, come meet some members, then we go for a cruise for food after!

I will be down for it that weekend.... Unless the Indy is that weekend because then I won't be available. But I would definitely like to attend and meet the skyline community

Honda indy is indeed that weekend...

I dont know how many other people here are Tragically Hip fans, but Ive got tickets to back to back shows (Bobcaygeon on June 25, Downsview on July 1), and thats priority numero uno. If we held the Skymeet on the July 9th (Saturday) afternoon/evening, that should allow people to go to qualifying etc at the indy.

Thoughts?

Heard from Marc and some of our other Quebec Skyline owners that they'll make the trip out for this meet with some partying after! We can't disappoint them after a drive like that! So let's get as many Skylines/JDMs out to this meet as possible!

Alright, so it's looking like for the majority of people we've talked to, the 16/17 weekend seems to be best! So we'll hold it that weekend! I'm going to be sure to bring in a big cooler of water/other drinks for this year so we don't die of heat like we did last year, and I'm working on some sunshade as well! We've got some pretty decent ideas to make this an awesome meet! Keep an eye on this thread for updates from myself or Ryan (Oakville) as we get everything up and running!
