PICTURES: Dunnville Sept 10 track day

    http://www.putfile.com/z-tuned/images/18315

Anywhoo, great track conditions, cold air and a hot surface. No road hazards other than a SKYDIVER THAT LANDED ON THE TRACK! Yep, we all joked about it and it actually happened - what a newb.

GT-R rolling R-Compounds was teh hotness rather than the Yoko streets I had last time. Put in 100 Octane aviation fuel up there, then upped the boost and it was like riding a pissed off bull

    2. 340 rwhp Skyline GT-R = 1:15.25

The chicane must have been set up much differently when I was there. I believe my best time was 1:12.x in a mostly stock car.

Yes Nav bring that thing out. Beautiful car by the way and thanks for showcasing it at the GPT.

I'll hit up Subbie club day, how are their meets? Not too many newbs are there that don't point you by and almost Pitt manuever you on each turn I trust.

Yep that RX-7 is quite the machine...I only wanted on the track when he was out there :-)

    we were running straight through.
unless your mostly stock car, is a exeige with twice the stock HP on wide Rs there no way you were that fast

Thanks for the heads-up on this one. The FD and I were fairly even both on Rs and we were hauling. Its tough to imagine shaving 3-4 seconds off that?!

I think the open wheelers run 1:07 - I didn't know how to respond to this if its an EVO MR with a badass driver...

This wasn't in the MR and I wasn't doing the timing myself. And my driving isn't that impressive The MR would have been a lot quicker for sure though. Next track day, I will join and hopefully get some accurate timing.
