    Tokyo Auto Salon 2007

    show dates
    January 12, 13 and 14 (Friday through Sunday)
    Exhibition not open to the public on Friday morning until 1:00 p.m.

    Location
    MAKUHARI MESSE (Nippon Convention Center)
    International Exhibit Halls 1 through 8.
    2-1, Nakase, Mihama-ku, Chiba-shi, Chiba-ken, Japan 


    Show schedule
    Friday, January 12 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
    Trade and media day. Restricted to media, affiliates, exhibitors, manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers.
    (You can buy "Premium ticket" which let you in after 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
    But no tickets or passes are for sale which invite you to the show hour before 1:00 p.m. Only limited numbers of invitation tickets will be available through exhibitors.)
    Saturday, January 13 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
    Open to the public
    Sunday, January 14 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    Open to the public


    Exhibitors' booth set-up and tear-down days
    Booth set-up days (Freight target time)
    January 10, 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. January 11, 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
    Tear-down day
    January 14, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (Target time to complete the tear downs)


    Admissions
    (Entry permitted after 1:00 pm January 12, 2007) : 3,000 Yen (Good for Friday only)
     Advance ticket(Friday) : 2,500 Yen
      (will be sold at “Lawson”, convenience stores.Not available on wire or abroad.)

    : For January 13, 2007. 9:00am-6:00pm or 14, 2007. 9.00pm - 5.00pm (Good for one day either Saturday or Sunday)
     Adult - 1,800 Yen.
     Advance ticket(for Sat or Sun) : Adult - 1,500 Yen
      (will be sold at “Lawson”, convenience stores. Not available on wire or abroad.)
     High school and Junior High students - 1,200 Yen

     Elementary schoolchildren and younger - Free of charge

    Discount ticket for a handicapped is available.

    I'm almost for sure going! Another GTRC meet there like last year would be awesome! If more people would make the trip, it would be even better!

    Hope I posted this early enough for you guys to have enough time to think about it and plan the trip and all! :wink:

    Alas, not many of us can afford to go to Japan .

    If your off to there make sure to take LOTS OF PIC'S to post up when you get back. I'm sure we'd all LOOOOOVVVE to see whats new and whats hot!

    Finally someone interested in going to TAS!
    Trust me guys, it is worth the trip to Japan and the expense!
    I hope more people will start thinking about it and go!

    I'm normally there every winter but this year we've decided to go to St. MArtin instead and get a tan instead of sleeping in poorly insulated and drafty homes in Tokyo I highly recommend going at least once in your life...quite the show! I think this will be the first time in 4 years that I'll be missing the salon.

    I went last year and had a blast! I posted lots of pics on the Z forums (I didn't own a Skyline at the time). I'll be sure to take & post lots of pics this year as well.

    I'll be there but in a non-drafty and overpriced westerner hotel.

    St. Maartin is cool though, the french side. Nudie beaches with some unruly 100lb euro chicks wandering around. Have fun with the wife sucker.
