Taillight bulbs

I need to know what number bulb I need for the 4 tail/brake lights . I have one that keeps blowing, and when I turn my park lights on, the new bulb is a lot brighter than the rest, but it keeps on blowing the brake side of the bulb. Am I using the wrong bulb or do I have bigger problems.

sounds like an electrical problem to me. crossed wire connection perhaps. check all your wires from that bulb to the souce of your tail lights.

I figured it out...I was using the wrong bulb...apparently the brake lights take a 6V 1154, replaced all 4...now works fine.!!!
