Naca hood vents

Just curious as too how many members are rolling around with naca air ducts on their hoods. They have really been growing on me and i am actually considering them as opposed to buying a whole new hood like a dmax vented hood. Any opinions are welcome.

Unless the owner of that car has done a creative relocation of the air filter/intake, I can't see how that duct would be of any use in that location. All it's doing is drawing cold air into the rear-passenger's side of the engine bay. If it's to feed the air intake, then it should be near the leading edge of the hood.

I believe the R34 GTR adopted a NACA duct on the passenger side of the hood (as in the pic posted) to direct cooling air onto the rear turbo as it gets the least air circulation. The intent was to increase the life of the rear turbo. I could be wrong on this.

This car is from the UK is it not? I remember seeing the build but Im not sure what site. Thats the most beautiful, mean looking R32 GTR I have ever seen imo.
