are you talking about shipping from Japan or Vancouver?
He posted quotes from Vancouver. There are no restrictions on shipping within Canada.
As for from Japan, try doing a search here and reading some other posts. Its be covered many times

Those are the rates from Vancouver to Ontario (city center - as defined above). Cars ship out of Vancouver once/week & right now it is a Friday scheduled departure date.

Shipping from Japan to Canada will vary depending on who/how the process is completed. Cars coming from Japan can be shipped whenever a boat leaves Japan for Canada.... however upon arrival if the car is not 15+ years old to the month it was produced in it will be siezed by customs and you'll be required to export it or destroy it.

I did say (shipping is from Vancouver)

I couldn't say prices for shipping from Japan since well, those aren't quoted on IC's webpage

Visit www.importconcern.com and check out their auctions.

Pretty much any Japanaese car that is 1989 and older can be imported. Sometimes you can see a Porsche, BMW's and such at the auctions which might not need to be 15 years old (since some have LHD).

I'd get in contact with someone at IC and tell them what you are looking for, see if they can help out.

Save your pennies. Good condition "exotics" will run you over $20k to your door.....really good condition exotics will run you close to or over $30k to your door.

Personally I think those that can't afford good or great condition GTR's shouldn't just buy one "because". Have a back up car...like a GTS, GTS-T, GTS-4, Cefiro, s13, 180sx.....etc. I'd be more pumped seeing a really prime example of an s13 over a crappy GTR speciman in Canada. Don't be a "My gtr should be JDM best of show because it's a GTR" type of guy. Get something that's going to be worth it. A $5000 GTR is only going to be so reliable.
