    newb question (h1, h2, etc. - Japanese years)

    hey i couldn't find the answer to this:

    what does the H mean? like, h1, h4, h7 etc?

    Its the Japanese system of naming their years according to the year of reign of their emperor.

    The present Emp started his rule in 1989, and his sovereign name is "Heisei", thus 1989=Heisei One, or "H1", 1990=H2, 1991=H3 and so on and so forth. 2004=H15.

    Very convenient for us as the first legal year for the Skyline happens to be H1...easier to count IMHO. 8)
