      Lol 1000hp goal? I went with a carbonetic twin (900ps) in case I decided to run race gas. How far are you into your build? Have you got most of the parts or just starting to build? What's your budget like, will you reach 600hp (30k atleast to be safe). I'd hate to hear someone is running a 1000hp clutch in a car that makes 500hp

          I'm not going for 1000hp would be nice but I dont wana rebuild my motor every week haha....I just want something that I'm not gunna destroy in 10 boost launches. Running a T88 setup. Methanol kit is installed and down the road I will add bigger cams and probly bigger injectors. The ORC is an option because Skyline_Steve has one for sale or i'm gunna buy an OS Giken TS2B.

          I don't think it's a problem running a 1000hp clutch in a 500hp car...it's extremely overkill but you never have to worry about your clutch blowing out! Unless your a terrible driver haha!

              problem with running a 1000hp clutch is that the term "driveability" doesnt really exist. a triple un-sprung clutch is gonna be basically just an on off switch

                  That T88 will be pretty laggy so you won't have big torque off the line. I did about 60 launches at 8000rpm (stupid, probably) before the twin OSgiken gave up. I didn't buy it new but supposedly it was when I got the car.

                  I'm certain you'd be more than fine with a Nismo competition twin (super streetable) or an OSG twin. Torque is what really beats the clutches up, T88 is a top end turbo more than low end I think.

                    From the cars with triples I have been in owner says they are easier to drive than a unsprung twin.

                      It is a laggy turbo but it's insane when it builds full boost...launches so hard it's ridiculous. I'm Gunna stick with the original plan and get the ts2b...thanks for the input guys!

                          Yep lol, I am surely putting a triple carbon in my Supra before summer. Nothing better than stock clutch feel and been able to hold 1000hp easily if I wanted too haha

                                Better check your sources. On a serious note, N1 oil pumps supposedly explode at any time.
