Hmmm. The fuel pump is priming. Took the spark plugs out, they work. Checked the ignitor, it's failing the resistance specs but it shouldn't be the problem since the plugs are sparking. Changed the CAS. Loosened off the fuel rail to see if the injectors were spraying, and they were. Checked the ECU and water temp sensor they're all fine. I'm starting to run out of ideas here. Going to check the fuel pressure tomorrow.

Have you checked your fuel pressure? try banging near the fuel pump after turning the ignition on

    bump.

still no start. car has been in a heated garage for 2 weeks, new battery, new terminals, new fuel filter, spark plugs have 10K on them and look good when inspected, 1 yr old yellow jackets, changed the CAS, still nothing. Checked blinking light on ECU, shows normal. It just sputters and doesn't start.

I tested the resistance on the ignitor module (i.e. transistor unit) and it was not meeting the service manual specs so it leads me to believe it may be this. But when i took the spark plug out to test it, it was sparking. HELP!!!!

Not to hijack, but I'm in a similar boat. My Skyline has been in storage for the winter (non-heated garage, under a tarp, hooked up to a trickle charger) but I had to take it out a couple of weeks ago because I sold my beater. It started up perfectly, then this -40 weather hit for a solid week. The weather has warmed up (-10ish) for the last few days but now the GTR won't start. The engine will crank over and almost sounds like it's going to start, but just fails. I bought a space heater for the garage but it's useless. Any suggestions to get the thing running?

If you think it's your starter just bump start it. Toss her in 3rd gear get a couple people to push and give'r. If its the starter it should fire right up.

It may be possible that a oil line has coked up? Bearing seized up and caused the stall/not turning over? Cause it seems like there is plenty of juice to crank, unless his battery is effed! CCA rating on the bat could be down the drain lol

Hopefully your skyline has been able to start now with the weather clearing up as it has.
I installed an inline block heater in the lower rad hose and also have a magnetic heater for the oil pan or tranny (haven't decided). I try to wash it at least once a week top and bottom to help keep the nasties away.
