Ran in to one of these yesterday; had previously seen the web videos (ads) and all of the noobs hooting and hollering about how 'insane' they are. Looks like they could feel thrilling considering the openess and closeness to the ground...
...but for $30k+ with no storage, no climate control and 1 drive wheel (but this 'motorcycle' is the width of a entire car), I can't relate to these things being anything but an over-priced toy. Less useful than a convertible car and (egad), even a Miata.
FWIW - apparently the new owner emptied his wallet and thought he'd go hunting Skylines. Maybe an unhealthy or bone-stock GT-R would have been a contest but trying to have a go at mine was just a bad idea...I let him choke on my exhaust twice before he figured out that spending lots of money does NOT necessarily buy speed.
