Anton is mostly right... I dont have to tell you about the power band difference in a GTR, much nicer interior and body styling. but im going to tell you anyway.

The 3 great things about a GTS-t is less $$$, not AWD, and im not scared about blowing my engine and having to pay a fortune on repairs.

I would rather pay $7000 for a slightly modified gts-t then buy a $15 000 skyline and not be able to afford modifying the car. And with $8000 to modify a GTS-t i can have a GTR killer, And still without engine troubles.

I guess its personally opinion. I bought a GTS cause its cheap, rwd, and has a great stance for track use. I like to beat the sh*t out of my car and im not scared to do so because its only a RB20 and there what ??? $800 to replace.

It all depends on what your going to use the car for... both gtr and gts both have great qualitys. so dont bash either, i dont see how it makes your GTR not look as good? If you bought the car soly because you care what people think then you likely shouldnt own the car.

my friends at work love it when i show them stuff like this. lol. this is their usual reaction. they have fast hondas and by any means not riced out in any way. all performance mods. but back to the gtr > gts thing. i've seen more than enough gts-t/gts-4 that can spank my gtr to know the potential of those things. way back when i first got my car me and fitzy used to drive on the highway all the time and it usually me trying to keep up. i think everyone should realize that a skyline is a skyline regardless of what kind it is. if you bought a gtr just to say that you have a gtr than i think you have some growing up to do. admitedly it cost a lot more to maintain a gtr and there a times that id wish i had a gts-4 4 door instead. i bought a gtr because i usually just go for what ever is the best. thats just how i am. have i ever regretted being like that, on one too many occasions. however there isnt that much difference from a gtr to a gts to warrant the latter being called inferior.:hit newb: one thing the honda scene has that we dont is that for them a civic is still a civic. weather it be a 2door, 4door, n/a, turbo, etc.... this is also another reason why most of the tuning scene think that skyline owners are elitist and have a superiority complex.:hit_head: never ever think that your the fastest or the best because there will always be someone faster and better than you. *end of rant*

I hate when people act like newbs and pretend like their GTR is "soooo much better" than a GTS4 (or even GTST).

I have shown it before, and I will show it again. What do you have over my gts4? about 60 whp!!!!

2 doors, wide body, a boost gauge, 4 passengers, orange corner lights.....

Sounds like ALL RICE MODS to me!! What do you have for performance over me? Again, just 60 whp.

What does it take to make my gts4 as fast as a stock gtr? About $1000. What did it cost me for my GTS4? $7500 so far. WHat is a GTR worth? More than $7500 thats for sure!

So while I have fun ripping up the track with my gts4, you can worry about spinning your bearing at high rpm and not affording to fix it


lets end this whole "high and mighty because I own a gtr attitude". Your not better than ANYBODY because you have a GTR. It certainly does not make you more of a man.

I bought a GTS4 because of what I needed (4 doors, awd, cheap, and reliable). I certainly did NOT "not" buy a GTR because I could not afford it!!

ugh, put your E-Dicks away. if we all like cars, namely skylines, then why don't we respect each other? each one has it's merits...IE, it's tons of fun to row through the gears in the gts to keep it in the somewhat smaller powerband. But that said, I wouldn't mind a GTR, or even better, some track time in one on a proper track (damn you ontarians or whatever you're called, we've got shite all out here.)

In any case, the topic has been exhausted, both parties are sorely confused by assuming that all gtr owners are hard parkers or that somehow gts owners are envious of "godzilla"....they all have their merits, varying from cost all the way down to driver preference.

^ agreed, i wasnt trying to state that all gtr's are hard parkers but for my personal use a GTR is completely useless it all matters what your using it for.

BTW im not going to praise a GTR just because a site is named after it.

i was at autobacs in anaheim two days ago and one of the parts "experts there" was telling me that with the mods i have on my car i should be clearing min 450whp, (intake, exaust, downpipe, reflash ecu, boost controller, splitfires) 317 is pretty damn good for those mods.

I could never imagine some one destroying other peoples stuff :roll: but it happens all the time. i want to know what is going threw peoples mind when they do that kind of stuff.

once and a while i will get a old guy come up and ask where the car is fromad and stuff and i get kids that say everyone and there dog has my car and that i payed to much.

nthing like someone jumping on my hood or roof. I dont even now how crazy i would be if someone did that to my car geeez

Im 17, and I agree. You have to be a very sick person to do something like that to someone else, talk about being jealous. And the worst part is, it usually is teenagers doing this kinda stuff, they ruin it for all the good kids that just wanna admire a nice car. I really cant blame people for being worried when they see teenagers around their car. I'm not gonna trust them around my car

I've been reading the squabbles about the gtr/gts and the gts4 for some time now and it makes me laugh at some of the comments that some of the gtr owners make of the other cars. Unless a gtr owner is at the track or some deserted road somewhere they are not going to use the full potential of the car. Some of them should get of their high horses and accept that it is a brethren of skyline owners on this forum. TO EACH, HIS OWN.
People buy what they can afford or are comfortable with. My 2 cents. Sorry for going ot.

our funniest one was some kid in a beat up rusted out tercel. revving his engine beside us at a stoplight leading onto a highway(two lanes side by side) when the light changed he dropped the clutch,hammered on his gas pedal and spun at least one front tire briefly, . we stayed with him through second gear.by then he was maybe doing50 KMH so we waved bye,rolled on the throttle,accelerated up to highway speed and left him with his mouth hanging open. :bow down: :drive:
