Glad they worked out for you man, looks like you did a wicked job on em. And I never really thought to paint them TBH... Kinda like to have a retarded element to my car, helps it stand out

i like those hooks,
i made a custom one, with the dimensions hozer indicated, i made some slight miscalculations for the lateral distance, but nothing a good dremel couldn't fix
painted mine a dark color so it wouldn't stand out too much, and match my color scheme
thx hozer, my muse

Paint those tow hooks, fine sir. They stick out like a sore thumb on an otherwise rad looking car.

Toe hooks on both sides because when I trailer or tow it i strap it down on both sides for maximum peace of mind and the frequency of which I trailer it is enough that I don't wanna take em off... That's why they are chipped to sh1t, they get used... lotsOriginally posted by RABBIT View Postwhats with the toe hooks?

Also got the corners from Daryl.Last edited by hozer; 10-14-2010, 04:16 PM.

cool thanks for the heads up! Also, I'm not a huge fan of all the vents either but that was the primary reason for this hood, need the airflow baaadOriginally posted by DJ View Posthad the same hood but I found that there were way to many vents on there so I went for a oem carbon hood.Had some fitement issues with the aerocatch if its place on the front vent where it dips down so try to avoid that area.

So as some may know, got my hood only to realize I didn't measure for ****. Had to cut the hood, drill out new holes on the hood mounts, shave the latch down, remove the security button and trim my catch can.... The hood has decent fitment, i can make it better with some work, and I'm getting aerocatch pins installed shortly
