Same thing happened to my mom a while ago, I was in the back seat with my friend (we had to be 10-12 years old) and we were going to pickering flea market taking steeles. Anyways, the guy ahead comes to a screeching stop at green light and we were probably 3-4 inches away from smashing his car (scam #1). So shes honking and hes not doing anything, the car ahead trying to make a left is thinking this guy is giving them way, the second it starts to make that left, the car starts charging at it (scam #2), it JUST missed that car too. I swear if that happened NOW, I would have dragged that sick bastard out of his car and beat him senseless.

I'm sickened at the fact that some people attempt these scams without a care in the world for peoples safety, sure this video is little fender bender but what happened to my mom could have easily put her in the emergency room and who knows what damage it could have done to me and my friend since we were so young. Still looking for that ******, dont know what he looks like or what he drives, but I pray hes either dead right now or living a miserable life.

Dude got caught and gets what he deserves with fraud fine but not murdered. You'd think his past record would be proof enough but they dont even mention that on CBC.

this happened to me and my family years ago. Two cars packed full of indians/souths asians infront of us just stopped randomly on a 60km/h street. this caused my mom to hit the car sending it into the other car infront of that. They all got out complaining about neck problems and injuries wanting thousands of dollars from my family. Then my mom called the police and the officer pulled us aside because he thought it was suspicious. In the end they were all charged because apparently it wasn't the first time. but me and my family ended up with a totalled car and injuries because some scumbag lowlifes wanted some cash.

I believe the guy has been charged with three charges, including fraud over $5,000 and public mischief. It does say it was recorded by an OPP cruiser so I'm not sure if its the same 401 accident. It is is the same scammer though.

    Repost of a repost...

But anyway...this seems to have died out, the driver, as he stated to CBC, admits his fault now. Did he try to get away with a scam? Maybe. Did the conversation between the two actually go as the text bubbles stated? We'll never know.

People always need drama to feed off of.

Are you kidding me? Maybe you should have thought about this before you tried to scam someone out of their hard earned money. Ya that's crazy that now he is a victim and the real victim is now being investigated? This is the world we live in now? Lol brutal!!! Thanks for posting the CBC vid I hadn't see it
