HEy!!!! what about the R33. lol
It's not only about power... suspension, weight etc. But I'm pretty sure it would be a good match!

I guesw my question is how can you make a r32gtr as fast as the r34 or r35. I have a r32 that why i am asking. The r33 is nice too but I think of the group the r43 and r35 are faster.

With enough cash, I could make a '98 Hyundai Accent faster than an R35..

Yes, hp being equal you can make the R32 faster than an OE R34 and R35, no problem.

With very little cash and a good driver and a GTI-R can be quicker than an R35.

very true, not really do you have to match the hp, but more so the hp to weight. i love the gti-r comment, i have a friend (ryan king) who has a gti-r tastefully modified (greddy turbo, 800cc injectors, pfc, 3 inch exhaust) and he beat a stock r35, or so he says. i have no doubt if you can mach or beat the hp to weight ratio you can out perform the r35.

stock r33 will out handle a stock r32 anyday, and the r32 weights less.

I don't know all the facts but why would Nissan build a next generation GTR if it was worst then the previous one... common sense. I'm guessing the chassis is improved and meaby some other things...

has to do with the attessa-ets... the newer R33's and some of the very late model R32's had revised attessa which had a faster refresh rate so it monitored traction alot quicker and as such was able to send power where it needed to be much quicker so stock vs stock the r33 would be faster...

The question if I remember correctly was can you make the previous model GTR's(ie BNR32,33 and 34) faster than the R35, hp being equal. If money is not an issue and ingenuity is the only factor then I say no problem. We are talking about an OE R35?

For example with the BNR32, I would upgrade the Attessa to the R34 version, stiffen the chassis, strip all the weight off and add parts that are light weight, add a sequential 6spd, fully adjustable suspension with metal bushings.

Add very wide, light weight rims and r-compound tires...forget r-comps lets go with race slicks.

Tune the engine for ultra fast responsiveness and there are probably a huge amount of other things you could do that I can't think of that would hustle the BNR32 around a track faster than the R35.

Off Topic: Stock vs Stock the BCNR33 is faster than the BNR32. It was in testing, but I think the R33 had more hp. Doesn't matter any way cause the BNR32 is better looking and we all know it is better to look good when you can just make it faster.

What about the electronic driver aids built into the R35? I'm not sure I'm ready to put my hands and feet (connected by my relatively slow brain) up against traction control, anti-lock brakes, and stability control.
I want to track an R35 for a few sessions to get a feel for the car and experience for myself whether or not the driving experience is more or less fun than that of my R32.
One thing I know for sure, I enjoy beating newer, more refined cars on track days!

the hp gains were negligible... the added weight of the R33 made up for the added hp...
