Damn man thats crazy. Its funny how worked up they get because of the wheel on that side. They automatically think its not legally registered, parts are stolen, and are more prone to get in an accident. I dont why law enforcement hates JDM cars so much.

Anyways beautiful car, Hope you have fun with it next season!

I've recently found out that there is multiple cases of skylines being brought over the border under someone's name and not. They bring them over, sell them illegally and come back to Canada. I've also heard of the US customs making an owner of a skyline sign documents promising not to sell the car if they come in under penalty of law. Not sure if this is true or not.
I know one thing though, as soon as that US customs chick looked at me, i knew i was going to have a bad day. She had the worst attitude i've ever seen in an official, and not only did she make a terrible impression on US Customs (for doing what she did, how she went about it, and ultimately how she acted), but she made it difficult for me as well. I have to go down again soon, and i won't be surprised if i get trouble at the border for this particular incident.

        Nice story wow!
The US customs people are just jerks either way. Owning a RHD just ramps it up. I know I will NEVER be taking my R32 into the states!
        Congrats on the car!

thats quite the story my friend! Id love to drive a Skyline across the country, minus the plate fiasco.

That's a hell of a story man! Props on evading the po' all the way home That's a pretty epic one lol. You're probably flagged at the border now, so it may be entertaining getting across. I'd definitely recommend a diff. vehicle from the Skyline if at all possible, just to make it a little more easy going. Hopefully nothing, though!

so they stole your plates... that is illegal, you should be pressing charges of theft... you commited no crime there for they would have had no grounds to arrest you...

it took about 7 hours to get home from south quebec where they took the plates. 4 of which were in daylight still.

In all fairness looking back though, i have to complement the state trooper who took me back. He seen the vet plates and said he was once army too (all state troopers seem to be ex-army lol). anyways, like most army guys he couldn't make a decision without calling his chain of command, so i might have been able to get home with him, but since he called higher i had to go back. That sucks, but at least he attempted to do what he could for me. I may have gone a different route myself, but that may be the reason why i'm not a cop as well.

The "Skyline" Bar will be sold with the rear bumper

Due to slight rear light damage ill sell the set cheaper. I've put a heavy duty super glue to the light and then took a black marker to the area and cleaned it off and it's hardly noticeable. It was only slight plastic damage due to taking them out.

                        Asking:

Rear Bumper (Incl) "Skyline Bar - 250
                        Front Bumper - 200 (SOLD)
                        Grill - 100 (SOLD)
Rear Lights -200 (fixed with heavy duty superglue, looks fine but i lowered the price nonetheless)
Trunk - 300 (including spoiler) (Currently being held)

                        In's and Odd's - all negotiable

Those are the parts i have off the car. I apologize to the guys wanting parts but i work throughout the week and dont have the time required to remove the serious stuff. Ill get to it, i promise. Bear with me.
