bump ... i may be looking for trades ... i really want an 2002 audi s4 6 speed transmission. i will be adding cash on my end. 2000-01 trans will do as well but the 2002 is worth a couple hundred more.

I'd try and sell these on the UK forums. If you still have one once my cars done I'll buy one of them. Built RB26/30 in a S chassis with a 80mm should be a good street car lol.

The bore is the same as a 25/26 but it has a longer stroke, once put together u can see the rb30 block is about an inch taller cuz there will be a gap in between your top and bottom timing cover. But more stroke means more torque which translates into......

what the different between rb26 and rb30? is it deeper cylinders or are they bored out slightly? if they are bored out a bit then no, the heads on a rb25 or rb26 will not work.

You might want to do a little more research before making comments like that....25/30's and 26/30's are well-known, proven hybrid motors.

ya rb25 or rb26 head ... for my personal engine we used a rb30 bottom end with a rb26 head. if you require more info... i seem to know a little about this. and a little is probably an understatement.
