Price Drop: 4000 OBO
Essentially it consists of:
• RB26 Head (had some detonation marks on the quench pads. still seems like it's in good condition).
• RB26 Jun Cam gears (first version- vintage! :-P)
• Almost every nut, dowel, bolt, washer, thingamajig, doohicky in brand new nissan bags for RB25/26/30 block (mix and match required) - direct from Nissan Japan. There are doubles and triples of certain parts here. All new.
• RB30 block with crank, pistons, rods from original SOHC motor still inside. Untouched. No SOHC head.
• SFI approved Romac RB30 Aluminum Balancer
• New Waterpump and Waterpump pulley (Standard, not N1).
• RB30 Crank Collar to fix oil pump drive issues (Not installed)
• RB30 SPOOL Australia Connecting Rods with ARP2000 Rod Bolts
• ACL Race Bearings coated by Calico Coatings with their CT-1 Oil Retaining coating (Actually coated by Calico themselves, not just using their products)
• ARP Head and Main Stud packages
• Lightweight 11lb Flywheel, not SFI approved, but Japan made. Could be inspected for 18.1 SFI approval.
• Gates T291 Timing belt required for DOHC RB30 operation (not the HD version, that is 4 times the price, and can be ordered online).
Hmmm. the list goes on. I'm positive I'm missing like one-hundred and one things from this list that I have. I was prepping this engine for mid-teen compression ratio to run Naturally Aspirated. . . If I don't sell it I'll just hold on to it and build it as time goes by. But it's really a good chance to get an engine and a lot of parts that not a lot of people would be able to piece together themselves.
All you would need to do is spec some pistons for your build (turbo or n/a), select a good oil pump, do some head work and put the collar on the crank (machinist job), and purchase a "Conversion" gasket kit (Nissan's name for full gasket kits), or even misc gaskets and an MLS headgasket. I believe I have the original RB26 Camshafts too. I sold the JUN ones I had.
You will need to assemble this motor yourself. I also have a manual that can help you with that, straight from Australia for the Holden VL Commodore which the RB30 block came from.
No Trades. I'm not interested in anything you have unless it's gold, silver, or money.
I'm not sure what I want to get for something like this, but when someone says the magic number I'm sure I'll know.
