Thinking of purchasing a GTR!!!!!!

I have a Moto Z2 Play (Model: XT1710-06) and I'm currently on Android 7.1.1 with the Feb 2018 security update. Will my phone get Android 8? Also, this will be the last Motorola phone I buy, customer service was CRAP, I know y'all aren't affiliated with Motorola, just want to spread the word whenever possible
