You can download demos even if you have silver. So all you need is an internet cord and you can download it.Originally posted by doublejceballos View PostAfter all these years I still don't have live so no demo for me. I am über amped however. Can't wait. And I don't have a PS so never really been into gt. I played gt3 and it was great. That was the last one however.

Absolutely! All the drifting takes place in the same physics environment as the normal racing = mega realistic! Keep in mind though, there is no seperate "drift mode", instead the game keeps track of your score through each lap, and posts it to leader boards. A great way to do it IMOOriginally posted by Nissan_Sean View PostI have mine pre-ordered, so pumped. Is the drift mode real like in forza 2 or does it assist you like need for speed where you turn the wheel and its instant positive lock?

I tried the demo this evening, I've been a huge Forza fan since the beginning, and I've had FM3 on pre-order basically since it was announced. The driving is even better this time around. Finally I get to work the clutch, and although it isn't entirely realistic (you can't stall, you just smash up your gear box and get delayed launches), it is still very gratifying to use. You can really feel the difference between the semi-manual and the true manual mode too, it is much better for drifting as you can clutch kick, and the shift times are just that much more quick that you can have an edge on someone using an autobox. The cars feel great too, much heavier than in FM2 and there feels to be much more feedback between the road and the controller. The sounds are fantastic and the graphics are the best IMO, not over polished but very attractive. I can't wait to have the full arsenal of cars and tracks in the full version, I don't think I'll have any other game in the 'Box for quite a while

Anyone tried Need for speed shift? I have it on PC with the G25 wheel, seat and what not. Not too fond of it so far. The game took a while to set up right and the graphics are very demanding. If I drop graphics a bit, the game crashes (a bug they haven't fixed yet). It's a simulator though, not quite like the other ones. I'd play forza, but it's not on PC (as far as I could find) so I stick with the racing gear.

just got back from playing the demo and if u wanna drift, use the porsche, it drifts pretty nicely.
and its super fun to drive the oposite way on the track real fast, smash into cars head-on and watch them flip and do crazy ****!
must say disapointed with the smoke, I was hoping thats one thing they would improve on and now its gone after like .5 seconds....not impressed.
cockpit view is cool I like how it stays in there when u flip or do barrel rolls.
overall im pretty happy with it, and still cant wait till the full game comes out!

I didn't even know it was coming out... been too much of a fanboy the last day and all my xbox time has been spent with ODST.
As for drifting I'm guessing it will be more forza-like than need for speed since it is a sim-racer after all!

I know what I'm doing tonight
Thanks for the heads up!
Edit: Never used the download queue before (not sure, but I think it requires my Xbox to periodically start up and see if there's anything new in the queue, so I think I've disabled it)....but it might be downloading right this second! If not...well, when I get home I can just turn on the Xbox and it'll start

Forza 3 Demo
Been playing it for the last two hours, can't wait for Oct 27th now..
Graphics are insane, GRID style rewind will be useful for endurance races, Demo could use some more cars and the R33 GTR is in the game too, along with drift/drag modes..
Anyone else stay up for it too?Tags: None
