    Its been here for about two months now but I have not had time to do anything with it. I have been busy with my other two GTR`s. I bought this car as a track day beater only to be used a back up car for when my main car has problems. As it stand right now I think I might pull the engine out of this and sell it as a rolling project car.

    Nice car! Minus the spoiler and some spacers I think it looks unique with the wheel colour! When does it arrive?

    86mm bore = 2568
    86.5 =2598
    87 =2628
    87.5 =2659
    88 =2689

    87.5 leaves you with pretty thin cylinder walls.
    Most people avoid 88mm pistons and I don't know if anyone still makes them.

    Hope this helps

    No stroker

    It does not have a stroker kit . But nice surprise inside , it has very nice HKS cams and pulleys. Engine has definately been apart and rebuilt , now wondering if it is maybe oversize bore ?? The auction sheet translation did state 2.7l but can you achieve that with only increasing the bore ??

    take a plug out, lay a straight edge across the valve covers then put a ruler that fits in the hole onto the piston. Then rotate the crank with a ratchet and measure the stroke.

    73.7 is stock, you are going to be looking for 77.7 mm.

    started a topic 2.8 stroker ??

    2.8 stroker ??

    Anyone have any idea how to confirm if an engine has a 2.8l stroker kit in it ?? Without removing and stripping the engine ?? I have a car that just arrived from Japan and it was claimed to have a 2.8l . Everything else checks out that it has HKS FCon-V, 720cc injectors, N1 turbos, stainless elbows and 4" exhaust . Just need to confirm the engine to see if I wasted my money !!!
