So as my car goes into storage soon, I cannot help but plan out potential mods for my car.
This is completely speculative so, this thread is to merely feed my curiosity.

Main question: Does anyone know where to buy a good quality Veilside body kit like above?

I love the subtlety of the widebody! However, I know nothing about exterior mods cause I have never been interested in doing this until now.

The only relevant one I was able to find is: http://www.empireaero.com.au/pages.asp?ID=R32

Is fibreglass a good material for body work? Would I be concerned about shipping damages?
Does anyone know what kind of wheel and offset you would have to run for a wide body.

    Thanks

Nice Body kit if you can find it. Im looking at getting just a rear veilside bumper, and fender overs prob from d-max. Mainly because of cost, like someone above said.

^ I've been through this and even sent payment to veil side, just to have them return it saying you have to buy the whole kit. The kit all said and done with install will run you around 10grand

Widebody kits! They look soooo sick!
I'm in the middle of an abflug zefi-r on my 96 supra. I ordered the kit from abflug, and it has all been fitting reasonably well, but there is still a lot of body work, cutting and shrinking/expanding, moving things around the kit cost 11k and so far I'm about 15k and 8 months into the build.. I had a set of 20x10.5 wheels, and had them cut ant stretched to 20x13.5 for the rear, and they could even go a little wider.. Tires are 325/25zr20 It's taking a looong time and feels like i just keep throwing money at it, but at the end of the day its different that all the rest.

              Doooo it!

Did Double J finally sell that car? Looked killer, there is a knockoff kit from the UK that should be 1/3 of the money that Veilside wants, AND you can buy individual pieces if you like, which Veilside won't let you do.

Edit: after looking really close at the pic, that is the UK copy kit of the Veilside, the cast in logo on the front fender is the giveaway.

Interesting! Thanks everyone for your comments!

What is the UK company called that does the copy of this kit?

Can't remember off hand but if you can blow up that sample pic the name of the company is on the front fender.

I also wouldn't do that to a good cond car, you need to cut away quite a bit of the rear fender lip for tire clearance, moreso if you want the car slammed. Best to do it to a rusty car that needs rear quarter work already.
