If I wanted an R34, I could have spent the $40K to buy a STOCK one here in Japan instead of dropping that cash on my R32 - setting it up for 900HP and the R34 GTR Midnight Purple II paint job.
How do you like this R32? Keep in mind the money can be spent PRETTYING up your R32 instead of cutting, welding, and trying to make the car something it is not, while your title still says R32 and you are perpetrating an R34. Get off this guys nutz...

Rick your car is PURE SEX but . . . i think a reason as to why one would want to convert to r34 is based totally on taste and the UNavalibilty of that particular car here in Canada, I am sure if Martin was in Japan he would just buy an r34 and call it a night hehehe.:-P1992 BNR32 Skyline GT-R

Martin undertook this project to be different. There are hundreds of R32's in Canada and the numbers continue to rise. Whether or not you like what Martin is attempting to create is completely a matter of opinion. One persons portrayal of a good looking car can be vastly different than that of another's. If Martin wanted a 900HP BNR32, there is no reason that he couldn't have done it judging by the amount of money, time, and effort he has put into not one, but two R324 projects. I commend Martin for his devotion to the build and dedication to be different.'12 STi Sedan

I read your thread on GTROC yesterday. Man your gettin no respect. Too bad for them. I really look forward to seeing both of your conversion cars complete. I have never seen one in the flesh...Maybe you could come to a Calgary meet eh.
Anyways here is how I see it. This car will be a one of a kind product (for now) and will be top quality (We hope). Alot of People want the R34 but can't legally have one. Normally I don't like conversions but the R324 doesn't bother me. Maybe it's because it's just a newer version of basically the same car (just heavier and more complicated). I could repeat more of the same crap that other people are saying but you get the idea.
Of course after spending all that money on a top quality body kit all you'll have is a show queen. I'm sure you'll keep the respect from the majority of us as long as it doesn't stay that way. :drive:sigpic

Then again I don't feel so bad, the guy who is converting this R32 to an R34 (I say this loosely) is asking for this type of feedback. Look at his poll....BNR32 Owner
