But I still have to put the car back together, and build the fuel cell, so bare with me

I'm looking towards Vancouver Island, mabey in the Comox area! If not then Vernon. I got to be close to a mountain for downhill mountain biking and snowboarding!!! What's the situations on race tracks in the area?

Well if your into Mountain biking.. are you familiar with a Pro M-Biker named Darren Berrecloth?

He was a high school friend who made it No 1 in the world... he is considered the Tony halk of Extreme mountain biking...

He grew up in Parksville/Qualicum Beach area.. and practiced everyday in tracks and trails in that area. So Vancouver island probably will be a nicer move... plus your close to the big cities unlike vernon.

here in duncan we got tons of mt bikers, some think they are bmx's though.. :hit_head: :hit_head: :hit_head:
but a couple buddys of mine acually bike *bmx and mt* they got some wicked trails and tracks up in mill bay *5 minutes out of duncan* where they are building a new golf course, the roads up there are trails and they got a track and alot of downhill biking up there too
but id say whistler/blackcomb is your best bet in bc, they got some pretty nutty **** for biking up there

I have been to pretty well every mtn bike park in Alberta and BC, and mt. washington was definatly not my favorite.

Personally I would go to the Okanagan area as Silverstar is pretty good, and has a ton of other cool **** like gillard, powers creek and its close to Kamloops which is also unreal for biking.

As for race tracks though I am not 100% sure about Vernon and area.

Good luck on the build though, if I ever get my car running I will drop by and can give you a hand.

i lived in vernon for a year and cruised around all over, there are quite few places up there B&X falls *sp* once u get past the stairs seems nice, silverstar i only went up there to snowboard so couldnt say for bikes, but all around there are tons of places out there that u can just pull up to and go nuts
the rollinghills there seem to be good for trails and such, and kelowna/kamloops are near by same with salmon arm which i noticed alot of trails and such like 20 minutes out of salmon arm on your way to revelstoke
prob best bet is vernon cause its central, but sucks in the winter tons of snow

if u are into ridding dh this summer move to Vancouver we can ride whistler every weekend and we both have dh race bikes on the back of our gtr

Yes i spend all the money into the gtr, but as becomming 4th at canadian national championship in whistler back in 2004....i became a sponsored ridder for maxxis so i get free tires... But I stopped ridding for a while so if anyone want some new maxxis tires like minnions etc I got them to sale
