This is true, but let the kid dream, I know him personally and he is a contributing member hosting meets and being involved with the community on our side and is eager to learn. everyone has big plans for their cars if they come true is another thing. I was also able to find good shape with verified mileage R34 GTR getrag 6spds for about 3800-4000 dollars + shipping and they seem to be generally bolt on. Not a bad idea, but would not pay 4000+ for a transmission with all the other things that should be done on the car.

Generally bolt on... + the new mounts, front diff (i think) drive shaft in the rear needs modified, clutch type so on. Atleast $6000 if you do the work I'd say. It's cheaper to get a OS kit or PPG since you're not getting a stock box thenBlack 1991 GTR. Serious garage stand mantle/parts car.

What if you busted out the welder and made your own mounts in the garage or modified yours to work. Clutch type, well i hope spending all that money on a transmission and sticking a factory GTR clutch back in it would be common sense. Its all a dream But in reality 5 spd is more then enough. And a IS kit or PPG only really need for immense power applications.You can't doubt the existance of hell when you live in it
