day 1. oil cooler

started off by buying some 1/8"x1" aluminum and new bolts and making myself a bracket





mounted










day 2 intercooler piping

all t-bolt clamps. **** blowing couplers off.

day 3 oil and fuel

finally received the rest of my fittings


fuel lines and done


now to finish that oil cooler

started by taking off the oil relocate line



instead of making a new line i just joined them together with a male to male


and lines are on

day 4 finishing touches

new bolts for the q45 throttle body (never use old bolts ppl. new are too cheap not to buy)


here is the line that goes to my idle sensor


all bolted and vacuum lines sealed shut


finished engine bay pic (well almost)


i/c piping again


now these stupid rad bushings are so shot. i had stuck little peices of silicone in to make them fit better but one had just had it today



now to replace this thing


cut some more silicone


pencil works





decent temporary fix me thinks ( i highly doubt ill fix it anyway. it works great)




battery relocate

went and got some 2gauge cable, hammer on connections and a power distribution block.



bolted down. lines all in







and finally went for a rip at 9 tonight ran like ****. needs tune bad

Also Who makes the gauge for your water temp sensor in the top rad hose? I have the same rad hose but no gauge connected to it.

the sensor pipe is made by blox. and the gauge is a racetech.

Save for a better turbo! you have all winter not? Tune and have it ready for spring?

but i worked so hard to build everything for this turbo id have to borrow a tig welder and weld the downpipe again.

my budget for new turbo is max $1000 i have been looking for a gt3037 but no luck for under $1500

Gt35r used you could get for that. And all you would have to do is change the flange at the top of the pipe everything else would still work. I don't imagine they would be that far off in placement locations

i had found a gt35r. my buddy just sold it tho. so new hy35 it is.

looked into that. i had forgot garrett is an awful company now. made in china crap. no better then ebay quality but 4 times the price.

got a new holset. threw it on. went for a rip today after getting it rough tuned. holy crap this car moves. update and possibly video after the final tune.
