    NIce Job J - great attention to detail , cant wait to check it out on Sunday. That swirlpot tank is a great idea - I've a feeling something along the same lines will appear in my trunk at some point in the future..

    I checked the cam wheels , doesnt look like any cam tweaking was done , intake wheel at least is 0 degreed , is this for "future tuning" ?

    Also - how accurate were the timing marks on the ATI damper when you degree'd the crank ? I'm about to do mine .

    You should give us a spec sheet on your motor now it's running

          The ATI dampner was easy to degree per RS Tuning. It makes a big difference in smoothness at high RPM too. Noticeable for sure. Here are the motor spec:

          HKS Step 2 Cams - 264, 10.2mm
          Ferrera titanium retainers, double springs, valve seats
          Supertech lifter buckets
          Tomei oil restrictor
          New metal headgasket (can't remember which one, not cometic)
          New piston rings
          ARP rod bolts
          ARP head bolts
          ARP bottom end bolts (amalgam of L28 and KA24 sizes)
          ACL race bearings
          Ported intake manifold to head
          Ported head to Exhaust Manifold
          Ported Exhaust Manifold to Turbo
          Clean used R33 GTR Crank
          ATI Race Dampner
          Tomei Oil Pan Baffle
          TOmei adjustable cam gears
          Tomei Timing Belt
          N1 Water Pump
          Custom Oil catch can
          Garret 2860-5's

            Just catching up on the thread now. Holy crap love the work, parts and numbers. Would love to see once the Z32 MAFs are on and a good tune will bring.

                Minor update:

                HICAS was going crazy on the car despite a diagnostic and reset by RS Tuning. Every time I hit a hard bump it would add rear steering. Daryl at RD hooked me up with a Tomei lockout kit which has fixed everything perfectly.

                Went to the Father's Day Exotic Lapping at TMP and had no problem running with Vipers and Vette's, all around the track. I was still getting unreasonably high oil temps (110c), but only after 8 laps at max attack. If I keep the car and don't sell it, I think a twin-cooler kit will be necessary.

                    Twin coolers arent necessary, I would be a band aid to a possible issue. Did you keep the factory oil cooler? What head studs did you go with? Was it hot out? That 110 is hot!

                      I have not contacted Unique Import Auto, I am not familiar with them, but will check them out online.

                      I am running ARP head studs, and a setrab 13 row diagonal mount cooler in the passenger side bumper. Considering I was hitting temps of 110C when I had no oilcooler and only 320whp I consider this a major improvement. However temp control is still an issue.

                        Little update. I will try to scan my timeslip and get it up for you all later. Hit TMP for some test and tune action last night. All I did was lower the tire pressures down to 30psi hot, and no other changes. Raped everyone except for 2 10second pro-stock competitors tuning for the weekend. Ran a total of 6 11second passes, out of 15 total. Took some time to get used to launching a high HP, AWD car. The OSG twin disc was a major benefit here.

                        RT - -0.055
                        60 - 1.743
                        330 - 4.993
                        1/8 T - 7.713
                        1/8 M - 90.19MPH
                        1000 - 9.941
                        1/4 T - 11.876
                        1/4 M - 118.21MPH

                        I then backed this up with a 11.896 @ 117.88MPH, 11.898 @ 116.62, and a paid of 11.996's @ 119.88MPH and 117.28MPH. My 6 11 second runs saw me take down a turbo LS1 99 camaro, turbo fox body mustang, a 468ci Chevelle, a hemi 300C, and 2 mostly stock civic's.

                        Now I can't wait to see what it would do with some Z32 twin turbo MAF's, and another 60WHP.

                          I maxed out at 18psi with my -7's yesterday because of fuel. Made 492.8 which is nice but I wanted to break 500. Maybe next year I'll break it. Hope you get the MAFS and back on the dyno soon, good luck!

                              Well after 3 years of good fun, unfortunately the GTR was sold this afternoon. I had a great time racing in CSCS, lapping days, importfest, marketing with Rightdrive. All were good times, and the car treated me pretty well on the whole as did RS Tuning. I will still be around the forums, and hope to pick up an R34 GTR in a couple of years. For now family duties have to come ahead of fun times. Thanks everyone.
