castrol syntec 10w30 has been fine for me in my last car (GTS4) and my current GTR. I use a 300zx filter and 4.7 liters

ive used both mobil1 10w30 and castrol syntec 5w50 no difference....used lubro moly 10w40 once and car ran like ****

4.7l of in in an rb26 is way too much

i run a 240sx oil filter and it only takes in 4.0....4.5l is way past the max line

Probably the pay is good but im wondering why you dont use their oil.

Since I work for them, I don't support their **** (mobile)

However I was on amsoil for some time. Good stuff. Recently upgraded to royal purple xrp. I watch alot of speed tv and it seems that's all they use lol. I have a 9L+ capacity but still change oil every 5000km. I run 5 or 10-40 when available. When I was low power/oem I used amsoil 5-40 European turbo car oil. Bout 20,000km

And btw I thought there were fluid quantities in the Gtr tech section stickied, what happened to that?

I'm bone stock so you can use my quantity as a reference. As for the sticky, I don't recall one on engine oil, specifically. The misc drivetrain fluid sticky is still there though.

hey guys I'm about to do my first oil change and i was just wondering if mobile 1 is ok to use or if i should go with royal purple, the car is stock with intakes and turbo back exhaust and is only used on the street, also i read the fluid sticky and i seen one post that said 5.3 ltrs and another with 4.7 ltrs of oil is 5.3 only if you have an oil cooler thanks in advance

Mobil 1 5w-30 has been fine with me, excellent cold compression, smooth. It's more than 4.7L with a filter change, since I have to buy a 4.7L gal containter with another small quart to fill up (but I fill to the bottom of the hump).

no no no. i get exellent oil pressure and head sounds smooth. im almost certain its fuel pump. its just running lean.

havent even put 200kms on mine yet haha. having engine problems. ill prob change once a year as i doubt ill put 3000kms on it in the summer.

i use castrol. castrol syntec 10w30 to be exact. they sponsor dmcc so i buy their product

royal purple is garbage imho but do some searching on here. i only use motul or amsoil. and im pretty sure its 4.7 without a oil cooler.
