car came in one day and it had those cheap couplers turn and he had a leak.We checked all couplers and they were stupid tight.all good but during pressure test it look like a leak.We took off all couplers and one had a small hole in it.There was no way to see it when it was installed.Good couplers problem fixed

If your idle is lower then before and not bounching then I actually think your original was leaking and the new one isn't. If this is the case you'll need to adjust your IACV to bring the idle up, I believe the rb20det is supposed to be around 600rpm.

Well when my brothers IC piping blew off, he was running reaaaally rich. Looked like a diesel (lots of black smoke coming out the back). But yet again, it blew completely off, so not really a small leak.

Check for leaks around your couplers. Is it running really rich?

started a topic intercooler install funny idle

    intercooler install funny idle

so i finally got my new gtr front mount installed after waiting for a nice day to do it but i noticed that my idle is really low now. its about 300-400 rpm and was around 900 before, should i adjust anything because of the intercooler?

motor internals is stock and ecu is stock at stock boost. just bolt on parts like exhaust and intercooler, flywheel and clutch, bov etc on it.

    any suggestions?

Working...
