well i am running 255 in the back, but in the front it seems like the tire comes really near to the strut (225-45-17 on 9 inch rim). Buglsy you are running the 255 in front?
The wheel are 17x8 +35, so frank if I am already close to the strut and knowing the hoosier has more tire patch it will mostlikely rub.
basically, highest offset that will clear the calipers
i used to run 17x9 +38 work emotion rims in the front, it needed a 5mm spacer to clear the caliper (+33 offset) because of the wheel design, and with a 255 tire it was sunken inside the fender
it would probly have been fine on a GTS-T
you can come to my place and try my wheels on, ohh yeah thats right... you can't :P
Did anyone, ever try to put some 255 in the front of their gts-t?
I know i will have to change my mags, and go with some lowoffset, and put some spacer.
I am just wondering if anybody has done it before to give me a guideline on which offset i should look at.
I want to use this set up only for time attack, it will be running 255 hoosier( around .7'' more contact patch then usual tire) and i will be running 275 in the back.
I know my stock fender are going to get rape, i am looking on putting some d-max _15 in the front to help me out with the clearance.
