I'm actually seriously considering vinyl wrapping my car. I was at the Montreal F1 grandprix downtown last night... and I must have seen atleast 4 or 5 wrapped cars from ontario... and I can't get over the look. If I wrap my car black, the wheels are gonna stay black, but if I wrap it white, I think I'm gonna paint them something crazy lol. We'll see though, thats in a while.

Okay. Some progress on the parts.

Just picked up these babys... gonna install em tomorrow!

    Tein Type HE's

Ignore the fact that it says R33 on the coilover... they made a mistake. The actual part number is for the HCR32.

The other parts pile... waiting on my Hawks to come in.

And this is a pic of the temporary garden edging I had done while the car was in 4X4 mode... debating redoing it nicer after the slammage.

    all black errthang

to deep clean the engine bay, use some Simple Green degreaser/cleaner with a soft steel whool, then wipe with a rag
    everything by hand

i did this to my engine bay last year and it came out sooo much better, but i did go through 15+ rags

Alright, so yesterday I almost had a heart attack. I decided to wash my engine bay out. I bought some degreaser and covered the alternator, ignition module and the intake. After I was done and let the car sit for 2 or 3 hours, I started her up and it ran like total crap. The car was stalling out and just wouldnt stay on. Now, someone that has almost zero mechanical experience like me, would panick in a situation like this and that's exactly what I did.

What happened was that the coilpack cover was never put back on and I hosed down that area, which ended up leaving water in the sparkplug wells.

So this forced me to FINALLY grow some balls and take **** apart. In the end I fixed it up, changed my sparkplugs and did a coil pack maintenance using nelsonmxmarc's diy. The car runs much better now!

Anyhoo, I wanted to post a pic of the sparkplugs that were in the car before because I know some of you may be able to tell if anythings wrong via that way.

I also added garden edging as a front lip for shits and giggles, it's getting some good compliments haha

Engine didn't come out as clean as I wanted, but I'm going to re do it and focus more section by section.

One of the suckers holding the J pipe, wasted so much time on it.

A random shot I really like.

    Shitty buzz!

I need to start cleaning up the engine bay, first off I need some ideas on what color to paint the engine... any suggestions for an all black car on the outside, kinda wanna go something that stands out

Thanks guys. Trying to do as much as I can!

I think I will keep the GTR wheels, they definately suit the car really well. I don't know if I'm going for the "murdered" look, the only thing left to blackout would the tail lights which I won't do... so I guess that's about it for the black lol.

I already have my GTR injectors, GTR fuel pump and my re-socketed ecu from Klys that has nelsonmarcmx's map from his last years set up on it. Didn't really know that I had to get a resistor pack to put my injectors in so that's now on hold until I find one!

Other than that, I'm going to be buying some HSD's coilovers hopefully around the end of May.

Now I need to man up and start doing some tune-up stuff myself, I always start then get worried I'll screw something up so I just put everything back together...haha
