I drove my skyline in toronto daily for a year and didnt get pulled over one. just dont drive like a D1ck and youre good.

I was insured through desjardins and paid nowhere near 500 a month .. just depends on your record.

It's been a while since I updated this, I'll have a bunch of pictures for my next update, promise

But for now, I picked up an R32 GTR Hood & Grill for $150 (Yes, for both!)
They were painted a week ago and are now good to go

After getting a set of GTR seats from Judasentinal, and rear seats from Bellis_gtr, here is the outcome.

This was the interior the first day I got the car. All I did that day was remove the ricey steering wheel and picked up the OEM steering wheel from TorontoJDM.



Edit: notice all that wiring by the pedals? a real shi**y wiring job done by the previous owner for the crazy jdm oil and water gauges that don't even work.

Existing policy holders have it good in Quebec. It's a whole different story from Ontario.

lol great thread i like how many responces there is! and my skyline insurance is only 59$ a month here in montreal Lol. thats nuts if you guys are paying 500+ a month. i want a rb25 but theres nothing wrong with my 20 Lol so i guess ill build it til it blows then be forced to go rb25!

Well said man. It's sad that rhd isn't even banned in Ontario, yet with the whole insurance issue it feels like it is.

I'm not spending money to not drive my car. If facility is the only choice...so be it

we all know just insurance wise( unless your stock and with certasor with lant or in a province other then ontario) u pay up the aXX

gas $$ not that they are ineffiecent cause for what they are its pretty good

but its premium and thats $1.49 a ltr usually

and 10w-30 -0w50 syn oil and jap/aftermarket filter every 3-5000km $

car wash after every bird poo

oh a broke a tie rod ... better replace the whole suspension

YOU NEED TWO CARS AND DESPOSIBLE INCOME and the abilty to pay 500-1000/mth (in ontario) insurance

to buy these cars or its going to sit in your garage

if it sits on the streets it will be vandilized or stolen or parts of it stolen ( it happens )
