I don't know from where in this thread you quoted the above, but it's possible to change either the compressor or turbine housing to get a different A/R ratio which will be able to flow more air in the engine

rebuilt stock turbo (slightly bigger than factory turbo)
I've been watching this thread for a while with hopes to hear some good news to a responsive RB20 turbo setup..
The one thing i want to avoid is an rb20 hitting peak boost at 4500 rpm :S

It's sometimes better to go custom spec turbo from turbo rebuilder than off the shelf if chasing response.

yeah I know bigger will be laggier, but I intend to do my homework before putting in a bigger turbo.
tilll winter, stock will have to do. and I'm sure it will

The best responding setup I've experienced on a RB20DET, was a stock RB20DET engine with rebuilt stock turbo (slightly bigger than factory turbo) and stock intake, exhaust. The kick in the pants (response) was amazing when backing off throttle or accelerating on the motorway (very aggressive) with near to stock boost level.
Similar to Max D's R33 with HKS 2540, which is very responsive -

well my turbo went.. so time for an upgrade.
I'm slowly going for an GT3076R with a top mount manifold.
I just got my Nistune and an Innovate LC-1 Wide band from Ztune.ca so I'll finally be able to tune on the fly!

the story behind the little white house in Chicoutimi:
July 1996:
a major flood destroys everything in it's path after a dam gives way upstream.
Well except this little house.

Well it's winter and I'm bored as hell so I decided to "teach" myself adobe illustrator... here's a... 100% vector based sketch well minus the picture in the back
I'm really in my first steps but I'm learning new stuff everyday. today I discovered: Blend and wow it's REALLY a great tool hehe
comments or hints are welcome!
