Afraid your Skyline will be stolen? Read this.

So recently I have been noticing that a lot of people have been posting new threads regarding their Skyline’s security. I found this via Engadget.com and it looks pretty cool!

    http://www.wired.com/news/technology...rss.technology

    http://www.flashfogsecurity.com/

"The anti-theft device is triggered just like traditional car alarms, but substitutes repetitive sirens with a combination strobe and dense fog effect, sending burglars running (to the nearest club?) "in less than 20 seconds." If the perp's already inside when he sets off the system, he'll be greeted with a "terrifyingly bright" strobe flashing twelve times each second, "forcing his eyes into constant shock." Just make sure you don't accidentally set off the alarm yourself, especially if you have be somewhere on time. The fog takes 45 minutes to clear out, but on the bright side it won't kill you or ruin your clothes since FlashFog is nontoxic and leaves no residue."

Their dealer is located in Ontario. I wonder how much it costs for a car setup.

the idea I think is that by the time the fog clears you have hopefully heard your 2 way alawrm, got dressed and called the cops. CHances are the cops are not going to be coming, but you could always show up and scare them away

I think it's a good idea. C'mon.. if you see a car smokin that bad.. you'd stop and stare to see what's going on. And I'm pretty sure any thief that brings that much attention to himself will stop and run.

But, then again.. if that door is still open after 45mins (when the fog clears) and nobody does anything about it... another thief (or the same one) would just hop in and take your ride.:-P
