Need help deciding on my first skyline

    Hey GTR Canada

I might be posting in the wrong section, if so gimme a heads up!

But I'm posting in hopes on advice for my first skyline
My plan is to buy a 5000-6000 project

I'm a total skyline noob and need the wisdom of the forum!
What model of skyline should i look for?
Are there common problems with certain models?
    Where should i start?

    Thanks for your time!

you are in the same situation i was in, i had the same price limit, and you will have more luck finding a GTS-T in decent shape than a GT-R for that price. but either way i hope you are used to working on cars, because i had quite a bit of stuff to fix on my R32 when i first got it, hope you find one!!!!

Have lots of tools, lots of patience and of course money. I never recommend these cars for people who don't have a good knowledge or expereince with cars (or a dad with the same in some cases).
They are a 20 year old complex cars so problems will occur.
That being said, I've had few problems with mine and they've all been solved with persistance, help from GTR forums and money.
Good luck! They are a rewarding car to own. Make sure you hold out for a good one!

Look for doublejceballos's GTS-t. I believe its still for sale, and at a pretty good price. Better than getting a shady GTS-t that's been sitting outside..
