greyhound gets expensive when the size is big.

weight wise, they're the best bang for buck.

I usually ship that sort of thing with canadapost.

I ship my turbos to quebec for rebuilds. Cant remember what I pay. It always depends on how fast you want it there. if it were regular parcel, it should be pretty affordable. Next up is expresspost, then you get tracking number and added insurance. Use a venture one card and get a discount on any parcel with canadapost.

I ship hundreds of pkt's with canadapost every year and from experience with that business I avoid DHL, ups and fedex. If there were a face to punch for every time I have to deal with those companies, my knuckles would look like hamburger.

Greyhound will prob be your best bet tho but personally Id compare the bus with canadapost and pick which one from there.

nice! I had a rear diff (atleast 80 pounds and up to 120? I dunno) sent with greyhound from Calgary to Fort Mac. $160 later, it came, regular mail... Insured for $200

On a same note, anyone know who would ship a crated engine? BC to Ablerta. Guessing around 700 pounds. Would need heavy insurance (replacement cost)... So far anyone will ship but no one will insure. It's new but going to my house.

whatever you do don't ship with ups, i used to work in their warehouse...worst company to work for hands down, and after being the one stacking packages in the back i would never trust my parcel with them.
