checking for leins and claims?

anyone know how to search something like carfax for information on a vin?
The vin i have doesnt work for carfax

im looking for potential leins in canada, and any insurance claim history in canada.
any input is great, thanks

get the vin and go to the Ministry where you renew your license etc. they will have leans/history avail there.
