Anyone ever had their car hit?

I got woken up from an amazing sleep this morning because my mom said some old lady just ran into my skyline that was parked out front. (The car has a blown headgasket so im waiting for the parts to get here so I cant even drive the thing.) Anyways, the old woman was turning left and my car was parked on the right side of the street I have noo idea how she managed to hit it, its so far out of the way. She cracked the corner turning light lens and barked up the bumper. I know it's not the end of the world but my car already needs to get fixed and this is just an even bigger piss-off. If anyone else has had this happen share your stories. BTW the lady was 87 years old, about 4 feet tall and definitely shouldnt be driving haha.
heres a picture of the left turn she was taking by the stop sign, you can see my car on the bottom left

That's sad to hear... Why is the car on the street if it's not driveable? Put it in the garage yo.
    No build thread.

Nice that's quite the spot to get hit. Looks like it's pretty clear of the intersection...

Well its gravel on the side of the road and around here thats what people use as a driveway haha. Its only been sitting for like 3 days and if I had a garage it would definitely be inside.

I think the only logical way that she could have hit you car was Grandma was trying to drift..... but that really sucks man, hope all turns out well soon!

That sucks LOL. Only an old person could do something like that; I almost got hit head on by an old man that LITERALLY couldn't see over the steering wheel, taking up the whole road. I thought it was a ghost car sent to demolish my little hyundai

ahahha this lady couldnt see over the dash either. But good news, she said she feels so bad about this that shes willing to pay to get my headgasket repaired, (it has nothing to do with the accident). She's loaded!!

If you know who did it then i would recommend settling with then privately.

If you decided to claim it through ICBC, make sure you have dot headlights, tires, etc.

I know when I got into an accident they said they will cover everything except headlights + gave me a VI
