    Question on rays lug nuts

OK so I am wanting a set of blue rays lug nuts but I have a question. The ones on my car now look like this but are just black, not RAYS:

Now I want the longer Rays ones, these ones:

I want to know if they are the same thing expect longer? Or do they have other differences that I don't know about.
    thanks

ya the exact same thing just longer, usually for people who have extended studs and dont want the stud sticking out of the end, or some just like the look. my buddy has em on his 370z because he's running extended studs and spacers, and he didnt want to see the end of the stud.

i have had 2 sets of rays lug nuts, and unfortunatly they fade in color, you should check out Project Kics, technically they're the same thing also made by Mackin Industries but more high end, its like the Gram Lights of the Lug Nuts, they come in blue, black and the set i have is Neo Chrome which is titanium burnt,

edited: they come in a lot more colors now apparently like a freaking skittles commercial.

Rays lugs do really scuff up and wear out. Although I think they are well worth the money. Those macking ones look interesting too.

The extended Rays are just longer, all other specs are same. Amazing lug nuts, its crazy how light they are but if you are anal about appearances, make sure you wrap a bit of masking tape on them when you tighten.

I have a set of red Rays on my NSX but for the GTR I am running the Project Kics pictured. I wanted purple which Rays didn't make and the Kics are just as god IMHO and I got them for 1/2 price. A buddy of mine bought a set of no-name knockoffs on Ebay and I was amazed at the light weight as well, but no opinion on durability...
