Side GT Badge and GTR Grille Emblem?

Hey guys,

I noticed many r32 gtr's don't have a GT side badge, but oddly some do. Anyone knows why?

Also, I see a few r32 with r33 style gtr grille emblem (or is it?), which looks pretty good I think. Anyone knows how to do that?

just buy gtr badge off ebay or make one urself and super glue it to ur car.

the r33 gtr grille emblem would stick out about 2 inches from your fender....
I have a set of the GT badges, (BN),,, white and purple...

i think he means the r33 badge on the front grille. like cobrAA's grille. i would like to make one as well. i think that it looks sick.
the fender GT badges have prob been taken off by someone trying to make it look cleaner.

it would look even more sick if u put the gtr badge on the side mirrors. or have it stick up on the front grill like the mercedez benz badge.

Oh yes...that's exactly where I got the idea from when I saw his car picture. I have a set of GT badges on my car already so I was just wondering why.

I believe side badges came on all GT and above skylines, many have been removed or lost by now since these are 15+ years old. If you like it put it on, if you dont then dont, there is no wrong or flamable answer to this.

The front grill in question is the TBO open mouth grill, google that and you will likely find it.

Official GT and GTR badges can be bought new from Nissan, I dont know the part number but you can find it easily online, just make sure you match it to your paint code. Unofficial GTR badges can be bought from canadian tire or on ebay, GT badges shouldnt be difficult to find on ebay either.

Brent is correct, side GT badges came on all GTS, GTS-t and GT-R models. A LOT of people pull them off, personally I think they look neat, and look pretty vintage.

One question surrounding these, on the two cars I've had in the garage, one had all silver GT badges, and another had a silver/red combo (on a gtr), Anyone know why?
