So my car got T boned...

    Heres the damage.

The other car seemed to hit me right over the frame, so the damage is to the door and quarter panel essentially.

I do plan on fixing this at a bodyshop if its possible, getting a fresh repaint and then turn it into a track only car.

How would you guys assume I fix the quarter panel issue?

It's not that bad. I can hardly notice it. Just take it for a car wash and it'll be good as new.

Won't be bad at all. See if you can buy it back from the insurance company since they will give ou a settlement. Go take the inside panel off if it isn't already and get out the rubber mallad. Seriously man it will be hard to get the door to line back up once is all said and done but would make a good track car. I'd buy it for a track car

The cost to repair this damage will far surpass the value of the car. OP I highly suggest you take the money insurance gives you, attempt to buy back the car an part out any good parts to make extra money. The cash accumulated should be more than enough to get another Skyline.

Best of luck, hope you are alright.
    Because race car.

I agree it looks like a lost cause. You'll probably have to replace everything on the drivers side (door, rear quarter, glass, and maybe front fender and door jam material). All underneath the door will have to be replaced, and the frame is probably bent aswell. Even the roof has a crease from the impact.

If he pounds it out and throws a roll cage in it for structure then it won't cost a million bucks and he can do it on the cheap. A track car doesn't need to meet up to the same standards as a regular car and can get pretty beaten up at the track
