    quick and simple insurance question

r32 gtr was brought to canada and inspected and insured in BC then it was sold and taken over to Alberta where it had any inspections done and is now insured in Alberta.

What i am wondering is since the car was insured in BC but is now insured in Alberta, if i brought it back to BC would i be able to insure it right away or would i need to get anything done first? thanks!

Your best bet would be to contact the highway traffic ministry of BC directly, as the regulations for putting a car on the road varies by province. This way you're not stuck with a "half-certain" answer
    Because race car.

i think youd have to get a bc inspection done,i bought my gtr from a guy in quebec and had to get it inspected
here before i could get it insured, the car left bc so bringing it back to bc would be the same as bringing any car from
    any other province
understeer -is when you go off the road and see the tree that kills you
oversteer-is when you go off the road backwards and dont see the tree that kills you

I bought a gts-t that was insured in Alberta previously and I had to get an inspection done as well. Kind of a stupid rule because it was insured in BC before that.

It's not a stupid rules. Alberta has different motor vehicle regulation than BC. This is why there is out of province inspection. Since the car wras register in Alberta, it will be under AB's motor vehicle regulation. Therefore if it wants to re-enter BC, it will need another inspection.

Yes you need a out of province inspection. If the headlights ain't DOT they ain't allowed anywhere, so if you got stocker gtr lights better find a set of DOT compliant ones. Also our emissions here in Alberta are lax compared to BC, so hopefully the exhaust is up to snuff.

Car moves to any province it needs a Out of Province Inspection.. moved back requires it again..

Where in BC are you located?

any place that does Vehcle inspections can do it.. however if you take it to a random place its a gamble if it will pass.

The main reason why the car has to be inspected again is because people were bring rebuilt cars from other provinces and then resell them in BC or Alberta without the "rebuilt" declaration.
