I have no real experience or understanding of most RB30 builds, but here's what I got for you. The best route people seem to take to get the extra displacement is to get a RB30 block and slap on an RB26 head.
    Because race car.

    Not much of a help.

But all I know is it's expensive as hell! I think a lot of people try to locate a RB30 block and go from there. I heard for the set up to work you need to dump stacks and stacks of cash to make it perform well. I have never looked in to this. Just read about it here and there.

edit: saw the above post after I posted

check out RIPS. They specialize in RB30's if I'm not mistaken.
Looking for cheap parts? supguyex (Jon) is parting out his car. Good prices, good guy.

so whats a good set up for me if i was looking to make around 500-550hp in terms of turbos, injectors and etc... i was think of going with the GT45R and 750cc injectors with dual wellbro 255 pumps.

Yea.... If you go with a gt45r you'd be more or less around 1000whp. As super said, the gt35r will net you 500whp quite easily.

as for the fueling, 750-800cc injectors will be fine, just make sure their flow matched. The fuel pumps, i'd go with a single bosch 044 or an aeromotive 340 stealth. Walbro may seem like a great deal but at 13.5v the flow isn't what they say it is. http://realstreetperformance.com/sto...on-test-5.html

reason I prefer a single pump is it's useless to run two pumps if one can do the job with enough safety margin. a dual pump is more dangerous than a single pump in the fact that if one fails it could run lean for a good amount of time before you realize it, if a single pump fails it's just like running out of fuel (a lot less chance of damaging the engine)
The GT-R doesn't run on gas, but on the tears of children.

An oem rb30 bottom end with an oem rb25/26 head will get you the missing low end power. There is a video of the RIPPS guys who built a guy a drift car with that set up. Stock top and bottom and the guy had been beating on it for two seasons. Sure you can spend a **** ton to build these motors. Out of the box they are good, just upgrade the water and oil pumps along with gaskets and your set
