    Hks v cam system?

Hi, has anyone ever used the HKS V CAM System?
Im pretty sure its like adding variable valve timing to our rb26 engine. this i think would be really cool, it would help with fuel economy and also with performance.but it seems to be really rare because i never really heard of anyone actually trying it out.

has anyone every tried it out? and would it be worth it? thanks...
    and heres a link,

I have one for sale!!! not the step 1 or 2 but the pro.

I was going to use it on my car and did some research before and I hope this help. (maining on the pro version)

    http://www.hks-power.co.jp/products/...6vcam_pro.html

    - it helps gainning your low - mid range power (especially if you have low CR with long duration cams and running twin GT-RS or single T04Z.
    - it requires a high volum oil pump, high strength valve springs and low comp piston to use.

I've got a ride on my friend's car who the vcam pro was originally installed. It is running a HKS 2.8L kit with twin HKS GT-RS. With the Vcam, there are more usable torque in the lower rpm range which helps alot on daily driven. I would say the turbo lag on the car is less than a stock GTR. You won't have to down shift the car as much to keep on the power band.

Feel free to PM me if you have more questions!

Note the RB26 has alot of torque.

This is RB26 with Vcam vs RB28 -

Spending 6-10 thousand dollars on something had better produce some unreal MPG gains to justify the cost.

    $4500.

and the whole purpose of the vcam is not to increase ur mpg, it's to gain low end power. Who cares about mpg if you are running 6-800whp???
