    Question HID's whats the best?

Im lookin to get some hid's for my 90 r32 gtr and wondering Whats the best setup out there? Whats the best option if your willing to drop stacks? And whats the best cost/value setup?(but not lookin to buy cheap crap product!!)

Im goin with a nice clear crystal white light look no blues yellows etc so if we could keep it to that catagory that'd be great.

Also thinkin not the super bright bright ones i don't want to be blinding ppl on the road so more like 35 watt insted of 65 watt ( not sure if im quoting the wattage right don't remember)

I have the pre 92 headlights bein a 90 so i need the 3hc. right?

    thanks for any input

the best (and arguably the only) way is to retrofit the entire projector assembly from another car that already came with HIDs (eg S2000, A4, G35)

using a drop-in china hid kit is a cheap cop-out and always will be

I like http://www.hidextra.com/ they also have a 50% off sale today! I have used them in my fog lights in my old 2003 Acura TL Type S, And my old 08 civic in the highs and lows. For the price they are great. A lot of guys on the Acura forums like them.

really ? this isn't mechanical, if it breaks you won't crash, lol you can't even see the difference... for 10x less trouble

and the 35w already blinds everything alive, i would get shot if i were to be running 55w

    Good to know lol

I've heard that there are kits now that the ballist is a less noticable little strip style instead of the large sqaure ones.
    Anyone seen these?

I ordered from VVME and when my box arrived it looked like it'd been through the washer a couple of times. Their customer service is based in China too.

I like my HID Canada kit. Uses the same made in China bulbs as VVME, but they make their own ballasts. Their ballasts are slim type that employs a digital canbus system. PLUS you're buying from a Canadian company.

As long as they're aimed properly and not ridiculously bright, they're all the same to my eyes.
    Because race car.

in all fairness, HIDs should only be used with projector beam headlights

if not, they will blind everything regardless of the direction theyre pointing
