    weird headlight bulb

Just wondering if anyone can tell me. I replaced the halogen high beams (H1) bulb in my r33 with xenon bulbs, they look a little whiter but dont put out a whole lot more light. I also replaced my low beam with some 100W HID`s that are just ridiculously bright but whats weird if the bulbs i pulled out of my low beam. They had a green/blue glow to them and almost look like they have a green/blue flame still lit. i have never seen any bulbs like this before and was just wondering if anyone knows what type of bulb they are and if they are any good because i was going to put them in my highbeam tomorrow if they are a good bulb.

it still looked like the normal H1 bulb but has like a green/blue glow to it it seemed, i stared at it for a couple minutes going "is it somehow still barely lit up...?" lol

Kind of looks like this http://www.google.ca/imgres?q=h1+hea...t:429,r:24,s:0

I will just add this as well, the HID's only use the right low beam connections, the left low beam plugs are just taped and dangling behind the headlight now but my left highbeam quit working on me now. is that because the low beam isnt connected on that side? getting 0 volts in the highbeam, did not check the low beam on that side.

    thanks!

Slow reply here but yes it was a blown fuse. i looked up r33 fuse box layouts and every single lay out i found said my left and right headlight fuses would be under the hood with the relays so i spent hours going through the car only to accidentally find the fuses in the trunk beside my battery....

Also, reason the fuse blew was because i installed a stereo deck and connected my illumination wire to the illumination on the deck only to find out the fuse will blow everytime the deck turns on so just disconnected that wire, replaced the fuse and problem solved.
