If you have 0 compression your piston/piston rings are probably damaged, time for a rebuild

That would be the result of A LOT of detonation. Which cylinder let go?
There are so many things that can cause it. Timing being to advanced, hot spots in the cylinders caused by carbon deposits, wrong fuel and maybe wrong plugs.
If your cylinder let go that bad I would suspect a couple of things: Excess boost and inusufficient fuel, or even just lack of fuel.
It might be easier to come up with a hypothisis once you get it all apart... it'll make for some cool pics too!
    Good luck! $$$$

btw I know some REALLY good engine guys in Saint John that maybe able to help you out. PM me if you're interested

with zero compression i'd be suspecting a busted valve wich could be bouncing around the cylinder breaking off your spark plug tips. If you have access to a boroscope i'd look down the cylinder with that. either way, it sounds like at the very least the head needs to be removed and reworked.

the spark tip could have jammed the valve and bent, your lucky if thats all that happened, being the rb26 is an interfereance motor.
